Many people are not aware of what castile soap is, let alone it’s versatility and infinite uses. MamaSuds Castile Soap is true liquid castile soap (which means 100% olive oil). Here are uses and recipes to use MamaSuds Castile Soap:
All-purpose Spray Cleaner: Fill a spray bottle with a ounce MamaSuds Castile Soap then fill your spray bottle up with warm water, Shake vigorously. This is great for cleaning counters, walls, bathtubs, sinks, and even carpet spots. I even use it on my micro-fiber couch. Add a few drops of Tea Tree or Lemon essential oil and it’s better than bleach!
Fruit/Veggie Wash: spray your fruit and veggies with the All-purpose Spray Cleaner (above) and rinse.
Dishwashing Soap: put a few squirts of MamaSuds Castile Soap in the sink with hot water and hand-wash dishes. You can also use the All-purpose Spray Cleaner (above) on your dishes, wipe and wash. Remember real soapdissolves grease and grime and dirt so it will look and feel different than commercial dishwashing liquid.
Bath: Put a squirt of MamaSuds Castile Soap in the bath tub to bathe yourself, child, baby or pet- it’s the only soap you’ll need! Or squirt a tiny amount (or dilute your batch) on a poof/loofah. Be sure to keep it out of eyes, it is not tear-free! Flush eyes well if it gets in eyes. Compare us to Dr. Bronner’s… you will not be disappointed!
Baby Wipe Solution: Using an old wipe container, I fill the container one-third to one-half of the way with warm water, one squirt of MamaSuds Castile Soap, close the lid and shake gently to mix. I love adding lavender essential oil for the perfect baby bum wipe!
Hand wash: Fill your old hand wash bottle one-third of the way with MamaSuds Castile Soap and the rest with water. If the watery texture is a problem, add some glycerin for that luxurious feel. Want a finished product? MamaSuds Foaming Hand Soap! For very soiled hands (grease for example), spray MamaSuds Castile Soap directly on your hands and scrub- watch the grime dissolve! Carpet Cleaner: instead of the chemical products your carpet cleaner insists you use, put a few ounces of MamaSuds Castile Soap in the resevoir with water. You won’t be disappointed!
Floor Cleaner: put a few ounces in the reservoir of your steam cleaner or bucket and wash! castile soap uses
Tough Stain Spot Cleaner: put a few drops on your mystery stains, grease stains and all the stains you can never get out (wine, bananas, coffee, tomato, blood, etc)! Then throw in the wash. The quicker you get it on the stain the better but it works great on stains already set. We’ve saved quite a few clothing items for our customers!
A great tip to make your MamaSuds Castile Soap last a long time is to put half of it in a separate container and dilute both with water. MamaSuds Castile Soap is highly concentrated!
