Feeling Grateful

Kids really do say the darndest things. Once in awhile they might say something so profound it makes you cry.

My oldest daughter is very proud of her mom. I know this because she LOVES telling everyone about what I do and why I do it. She is very interested in ingredients, and our customers and their orders. She is especially interested in my website and I how I do all this “stuff” online. She asks great questions and loves to just watch me. It really is a huge compliment.

While lying in bed with her last night, she starts asking me questions about my website and where orders go and such. At first I was a little annoyed because she is supposed to be sleeping, but then she asked: “How did you even start doing all this?”. I thought it would be a great idea to just read her all the blog posts I had started writing about (How did I get here? Parts 1-5). I wasn’t even half way through part 2 and she interrupted me to say: “Wow Mom, you have a great life.”

Yep. You’re right. I have a great life. My eight year old thinks/knows/observes that I have a great life.

Amen to that!
